Realms and Realm Cards are key elements in Nightingale, guiding players through various procedurally-generated worlds.

Realm Cards in Nightingale are special items you can craft. They are used to open portals to different realms, which are unique worlds with their own traits. The type of Realm Card you use changes what the realm will be like.
Biome Cards are one type of Realm Card. They decide the environment of the realm you'll enter, like a forest, swamp, or desert. You need at least one Biome Card to open a new realm.
Major Realm Cards add big changes to the realms. They can change things like the weather or add new story elements. You can use these along with a Biome Card, but they're optional.
Minor Realm Cards make smaller changes to the realms. They might add more resources or different creatures. Like Major Cards, you can choose to use these with a Biome Card.
To make Realm Cards, go to a Crafting Bench in the game. You'll need paper, ink, and a special item called Essence. If you break down a Realm Card, you get Essence Dust, but it's not clear yet how this is used for crafting.
In these realms, you'll find creatures that could be friendly or not. It's up to you to figure out which creatures are safe and which aren't. The realms are full of stories and secrets to discover about Nightingale's world.
